IQmates is a revision platform working on ways to provide students with supplementary resources they can use to fully grasp course content outside their classrooms - tutorial videos, numerous practice questions, and enabling students to participate in discussion groups with students from other universities.
We are looking for highly motivated and energetic student brand ambassadors to join our team and represent our brand across university campuses in South Africa. As a student brand ambassador, you will be the face of our company on campus and play a critical role in engaging with students, promoting our platform, and encouraging them to sign up.
Responsibilities:
- Build brand awareness and promote IQmates on your university campus through various marketing channels such as flyers, posters, social media, and events.
- Engage with students and educate them on the benefits of using IQmates as a revision tool.
- Encourage students to sign up and use the platform.
- Attend and represent IQmates at university events and activities.
- Collaborate with other student brand ambassadors to organize and host campus events.
- Act as a liaison between IQmates and the student community, providing feedback and insights on student preferences and needs.
- Meet monthly with the IQmates team to provide updates on campus engagement and marketing efforts.
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled as a full-time student at a South African university.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of the South African education landscape and student culture.
- Passionate about education technology and its role in transforming the way students learn.
- Available to work part-time for 2 hours per week (1 hour a day, Monday and Wednesday).
